Adopt a Child
A loving home can completely change the outlook of a child's life. For more information on adopting a child, please contact Wilma Owens at (209) 385-3000 ext. 5832.

About Adoption
When a child is not safe to return home after being placed in foster care, the best permanent solution is adoption. Adoption provides a permanent home and a family that continues even after the child turns 18. Children are also able to have stability in their lives, which is an important quality for child development.

Aid to Adoptions
To help with bringing a new child into the home, Aid to Adoptions provides cash assistance to adoptive families. During the adoption process, ask your social worker about Aid to Adoptions.
