The County of Merced has been self-insured for its liability exposure for more than 12 years.  While County staff manages the self-insurance program, claims administration has been performed by a third party administrator (TPA) under contract.  The objective of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to determine if a TPA can match the terms of the County’s present agreement with its current claims administrator.
