Do I need a health permit if I'm providing food at a park facility?
Any time food is being provided to the general public for a fundraiser, a Health Permit may be required.
Environmental Health
will determine if a permit is needed. A copy of a permit or notification from Environmental Health is required when providing food in such a manner.

Do I need a health permit if I'm providing food at a park facility?

Anyone providing, selling, or serving alcoholic beverages must provide the
Parks Office
with a certificate of insurance that includes the County of Merced as additionally insured for $1,000,000. There may be other requirements but contact the office for specific requirements.
5.
What are play apparatus requirements at park facilities?
Anyone wishing to set up a bounce house, dunk tank, water slide, rock wall, sumo wrestling, or other play apparatus at a park or reservation site must provide a certificate of insurance that includes the County of Merced as additionally insured for $1,000,000. Please contact the

for specific requirements.
